# Edit an Editable Card

You can update an Editable Card after purchase through an edit link or from your account. You cannot edit a fixed card after purchase.

## Edit without an account

This option works when the card contains an email address.

1. Open [Edit your DigiCard](https://www.digicard.pro/edit).
2. In **Email address on the card**, enter the exact address shown on your card.
3. Click **Send edit link**.
4. Open the email with the subject **Edit your card** and click **Edit card**.
5. If several Editable Cards use the same email address, click the card you want to edit under **Your Digital Business Cards**.
6. Change your details or design.
7. At the end of the editor, click **Save changes**.

The edit link is time-limited. If it has expired, request a new link from the [edit page](https://www.digicard.pro/edit).

You need an account for a card without an email address or for a LinkedIn Profile Card. If the card is already assigned to an account, editing by email link may be disabled through that account.

## Edit from your account

1. [Sign in](https://www.digicard.pro/login).
2. If you bought the card without an account and have not added it yet, [add the existing card to your account first](https://www.digicard.pro/help/add-existing-card-to-account/index.md).
3. Open **Cards** in the app.
4. Select the card you want to edit from the list. For an Editable Card, the editor appears directly on the card detail page.
5. Change your details or design.
6. At the end of the editor, click **Save changes**.

## After you save

If the Wallet pass is already installed, Wallet should update it automatically. The card remains the same and normally does not need to be added again.
